    • Better off getting it in states for 480US?

    • you're only saving about $60 (using NY state tax rate and 1.28 FX rate) after conversions... and that's if you don't get taxed at the border on the way back. Guess you can put it in your backpack and not declare it, as if you took it with you.

    • This is the discontinued model of the Pro.

Apple overcharging for old tech - typical. (I am not hating, I am an owner of an iPhone 7 Plus and iPad Air 2).

    • lol wtf the downvote.

I snagged a space grey 32gb lte pro and it was totally worth it.

If money is no object then spring for the 10.5 but I think at 650 for a 32gb lte it's good value and good resale value as well obviously.

Not a fan of the white bezel options though loll

Resale won't be high for these devices.

Apple crippled the 9.7" Pro by launching the 10.5" with more ram and form factor.

You won't be seeing to many of them with LTE...this model will still commend a good private sale.

    • Does everyone understand only the cellular models of iPad have a GPS engine on board?

I did not. Wondered why my Google Maps Street View photos would not geolocate properly. Turns out non-cellular models only use cell tower approximation of latitude and longitude and are useless for offline navigation generally, the crappy location does not refresh regularly.

So this cellular model has a REAL GPS in it if you need that.

      Caveat emptor.

I still did not understand, how non-cellular models can use cell tower to approximate latitude and longitude

    • Perhaps using data and Fongo, no SIM card required.

Wifi-only iPads do not use cell towers to determine its location. It uses the signals of other wifi access points to determine the approximate location.
