Best Buy: BB Rapid Charging Pod for PlayBook $10

Forum member at both ends has found a pretty sweet deal on the Rapid Charging Pod for PlayBook over at Best Buy on sale for $9.99. While the MSRP of $69.99 seems a bit extravagant, the current $10 price tag seems like a no-brainer for those with a PlayBook.

The real draw of the Charging Pod, as compared to the included PlayBook charger, is that this offers a charge rate that's up to two times faster which is convenient for power users. Again, we'd probably pass on this at $70 but would definitely go out of our way to pick one up at $10.

Online quantities are limited but the deal is on until January 10. If aren't able to grab one in-store, keep monitoring the Best Buy product page as they may get some more in stock.

  Anyhow, thanks OP ordered one. Kind of a bummer this deal comes along now after I purchased $34.99 pack from BB last week that included this charger, case and screen protector. Oh well, can't hurt to have an extra at this price

  The dock is a rapid charger as well. What you want is the travel rapid charger; that one is still in stock in futureshop and you can pm staples, or just try to find stock at staples.

  The OP's link and this entire thread is about the RAPID CHARGING POD. Is your post referring to the RAPID CHARGING 'TRAVEL' chager? Both are 'rapid chagers'.

- The dock is a rapid charger as well. What you want is the travel rapid charger; that one is still in stock in futureshop and you can pm staples, or just try to find stock at staples.
  How is the PM at Staples going to work? The prcie for the travle charger at Staples right now is $9.97 and an additional 25% off in store for clearance. You can't PM Staples at FutureShop as the item is listed as 'clearance' on the Staples website.

  After this I'll have 2xPod chargers, 1xRapid 3-Pin charger, and 1xInternational MicroUSB Charger, all at 2.0+ Amp output.
