Until tomorrow, you can pick up the Acer Aspire 15.6" Laptop with Intel Core i5-2450M, 500GB HD, 4GB RAM, HDMI and Webcam for $499.99, down from it's original price of $549.99. It's not going to wow you with a wide list of features but this is an okay buy if you don't need much more than something for work-related tasks.

The lack of hard drive space and RAM is a downer but that doesn't mean this laptop won't get the job done. It sports a second-generation i5 processor which should be sufficient for work-related programs and photo and video editing software. HDMI out and the integrated memory card reader are nice features but we would have liked to see at least one USB 3.0 port and Bluetooth added as well. At $500, though, it's tough to complain as this is as cheap an i5 laptop as you'll find.
