If you dabble in 3D modeling, here's some good news -- the Autodesk 123D beta has been released for free. 123D is a stripped down version of Autodesk Inventor (software that can cost you a big chunk of change!).

It's similar to Google's free 3D modeling software SketchUp, but it has some advanced features like assemblies and constraints. Take a look here if you are interested.
