We've seen a lot of deals on the Xbox 360 4GB Console lately but, while the promotions at Future Shop, Best Buy and EB Games have expired, Amazon continues to sell theirs at the $129.97 mark. This is definitely a good price for the console and, even though it doesn't come with a free game, a deal like this is hard to pass up if you're in the market for the system.
At the regular price of $199.99, it would be a hard sell considering the PlayStation 3 is just $50 more and is a Blu-ray player too. However, if you're just looking for a gaming console, the Xbox 360 is more than capable and provides a fantastic online service with Xbox Live.

The 4GB is not nearly enough hard drive space (no matter how little you use it), and this is just a setup to force you into buying the 250GB HD for $99 later on.
Solution 1:
You can use external USB drives to add up to 16GB of space, if/when it comes down to it.
Solution 2:
You can ghetto-rig a HD from the old 360 model to fit in the new one.
