If you're looking to keep yourself occupied on the commute with a handheld gaming console, Amazon.ca has put most of the Nintendo 3DS models on sale for a limited time. Right now, you can pick one up in Midnight Purple, Cosmo Black, Aqua Blue or Flame Red for $149. While not as good as the Future Shop deal that comes with a free Mario game, this is a decent price if you're looking to pick up the console on its own.

All of the above titles are kid friendly and, with the exception of Zelda, can be played in short bursts. With the school term winding down, this would make a great graduation gift too.
