has anyone else seen it for $79 in the last little while?
Or all USB sticks in general. I have so many bent ones it's not even funny.
Weird. I really came close to purchasing this but Honestly I do not need 256gb usb stick. If it was a super quality one no one could refuse it.
I won't get the same IOPS but dat speed.
Still... I should have done it. That was a steal. I'm hoping it comes back.
ps. 256s in RAID (512Gb) costing only 126 bucks will destroy any 512gb (mostly over 200) in the market in terms of performance and price lol. Take that Samsung SSD fanboys lol. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jeS7jBC-W2Q
I would suggest to call in again. Confirmed $62.99+tax.

As for your rhetorical question, I know right.
Also WTF are people doing with a 256GB flash drive?
Pretty slow for a USB of this size.
I think futureshop is full of BS when being asked for PM.

Gahh.... Don't want to regret it down the road when performance goes downhill.
The 128GB and 256GB is much faster. Tweaktown tests shows 200MB/s read and 95MB/s write on the 128GB unit. I believe this 256GB one is at least the same speed or even faster.

General consensus seems to be that this drive is slow, poorly built, and prone to failure.

would advise against buying this. I have one of these and as you can see its much much faster:

also theres a pny 128gb that regularly goes on sale for $39.99. I have one and its pretty similar to that corsair in performance, better actually. 190 mb/s read and 130 mb/s write.
