It would be a good deal but my local store doesn't seem to be one of the participating stores....

    • So the link in the first post for sure includes the participating locations? Seems like most locations are no?

Would Tim Horton's confirm this on their website for locations?

Watch the non RFD members aka lurkers ruin it for us as this may be posted on FB/Twitter as well lol.

Edit: even if some carry one or two of the 4 models its still a good deal as its over the price of the $40 Variety Pack.

Hopefully no catch on paying taxes for the machine Can OP please confirm the tax part as well as if Tim Horton's will put up a list of participating locations or are these already 100% confirmed?

      Thanks

    • You serious? The brewers itself are at least $150. They'd probably only have 1 in stock to lure people in.

They *used* to cost that much.. prices have dropped.. they now start at ~$60... Costco has a bundle with the top model T65 for $99... comes with 86 T-Discs.

    • By the way the calculation is incorrect. 24 + 14 + 8 is not 50. That's 46. What's the other 4?

I think it's time to RFD to make Only members deals.
+1 and only visible to members only. But non members will sign up just to use this. Perhaps a system where members get some sort of ID after a month of being a member lol.

    • Can anyone confirm whether there is or still is not or will there ever be refillable t-discs? Feels like the coffee industry took a page right out of the book of the printer business model

I have a keurig right now but this deal is handy for gift giving however I don't think it'll be useful in the long run to whoever gets it

Would you consider this a deal then? Since Costco Tassimo pricing starts at $60.

Costco only has the T65 Bundle.. you can get the T20 almost anywhere right now for $60. This deal is very good.. for $40 you get 50 discs and a brewer.

Would this be a bad deal if only the T45 will be given out?

    • Tassimo machines makes crap coffee, have had my machine for 3 years have tried every flavor and they are basically all crap, Starbucks was probably the best one. I was anxiously waiting for the Tims t-discs to come out and what a disappointment, they taste absolutely nothing like Tims, basically all the different t-disc coffee taste kind of the same. I will say most of the latte beverages are good though and they came out with a new hazlenut flavor that was ok.

Bottom line though, if you'll be using it almost exclusively for coffee don't even waste the $40 on it, get the Keurig. The coffee from the Keurig is 100 times better and there are so many more choices, including the option to use your own grinds.

    • I couldn't disagree with you more. IMO, there are a number of premium t-discs that are phenomenal, leaps and bounds better than anything the Keurig offers. Mastro Lorenzo Crema, Gevalia Dark House Blend and Dark Italian Roast, Second Cup Paradiso/Dark, Carte Noire Espresso... Also love some of the non-coffee offerings, like the Tetley iced tea and Milka hot chocolate. Granted, if you buy Nabob discs to save a few bucks, you're probably going to be disappointed. But make no mistake, the Tassimo has some pretty special coffees that will delight even the most discriminating coffee drinkers.

    • I tried some Tim Horton's T-discs last week, and I thought they were good. I generally brew my own coffee from fresh-ground premium beans rather than use the Tassimo, but the Tim Horton's T-discs didn't offend my taste buds. I didn't care for the few Nabob coffee T-discs I've tried.

    • Can anyone confirm whether there is or still is not or will there ever be refillable t-discs?
Unlike K-cups, T-discs are made to be pressurized. Once you break the foil seal, they can't be re-sealed and re-used. So a re-usable T-disc would not be as easy as a re-usable K-cup.
