Starbucks Treat Receipt: Buy Something in The Morning, Get a Grande Cold Beverage for $2 After 2 PM

Get a Grande Cold Beverage for $2 After 2 PM
This deal has expired! This deal has expired!

Starbucks is bringing back their popular Treat Receipt offer! Starting today, July 15, when you buy something at Starbucks in the morning you'll be able to bring back your receipt for a $2 grande cold beverage any time after 2 PM. You can get any handcrafted beverage including Frappuccinos, Refreshers, Iced Coffees and more! The offer is running through August 11 so you've got plenty of time to take part.

This offer is running at participating stores only. Unfortunately we haven't been able to locate a list of participating locations, but we have seen the offer advertised at our local Starbucks locations, so check for a sign or ask the staff to ensure you'll be able to take part.

No and cheapest is probably a short brewed coffee (not sure if they even make coffee in short containers) but otherwise my normal morning starts with a tall dark $1.94 tax inc. Ontario.

Grande Frap for $2 is a deal...I usually give the receipts to coworkers if I don't want an afternoon drink.

    • The treat receipt is back at Starbucks.

Purchase a drink in the morning and get a grande drink after 2pm for $2

      July 15 - August 11
It doesn't have to be a drink purchase in the morning.
Purchase a gift card and ask for the receipt. ALL receipts in the morning will have the offer listed on it

Yes, the same day. You can't hoard receipts from other mornings and use on afternoons as you please

    • the "cheapskate" RFD way for the past 2 years is this:

morning: buy a $5 Starbucks card, obtain receipt
afternoon: buy a $2 drink with that receipt and card

just keep reloading the card by $5 every morning and get receipt without "buying" anything

in most stores, baristas will give them to you anyway. (I am currently a barista)

    • If I must show the paper receipt, does that mean I cannot use my phone to pay to earn the star? Can I still ask for the paper receipt paying by scanning the phone?

Wow a really good idea. Is $5 the minimum amount to reload or can you reload $2 or $2.23?

Yes you can ask for the receipt if you pay that way. Now I know why the cashier asked me if I wanted a receipt this morning.

Thanks Bosoxfanx1. The $5 reload has to be done in store or can I do it online? Saves 1 trip to Starbucks each morning if an online receipt can be presented and if the reload every morning can be verified by the Starbucks employee.

Can't believe I'm the only one thanking you for the tip. That is the RFD way I guess -- being stingy even on the free thank you's.

lol I am not doing it for "thankyou"s, but thankyou
I dont think you get a receipt for a "online reload". you must go in a reload in the morning yourself. hence the problem: would you actually pass by a sbux store and not get anything?
