View allI'm SOL anyways because the phone took a short swim in the sump last summer, surprisingly the phone continued to work up until last night (most likely the case I had on it prevented water from getting in aside from the speakers/headphone jack. $450+tax to repair, off to look for a new phone....
My regret is not with the phone itself but the accessories that are available to it.
1. The phone case hurts my hand.
The case that comes with this newegg deal almost cuts my hand because of how heavy the phone is when you hold it upright.
2. The tempered glass doesn't stick properly.
Bought a $25 znitro tempered glass screen protector from newegg for free using the $50 gift card. The corners around the inside of the phone near the ear speaker will not stay down.
3. The USB-C is a drawback imo. This is a personal querk, but I am not a neanderthal. I'm not an imbecile who can't tell the difference between the right and wrong way to insert a USB micro. It's a petty nuisance which has resulted in me buying 3x USB micro to USB-C adapters for all my 6ft USB micro cables. Again, I bought 3x adapters using the $50 gift card left over and ended up paying only $0.32 cents in total for both after shipping via newegg.
Last gripe is that the phone does get hot sometimes but it doesn't seem to affect performance yet.
If I could go back I would definitely go with something that has a better warranty plan or get a different phone.
I'm still using my OPO and don't see a need to upgrade since it does what I need and I found a stable ROM.
Nexus 5 still running strong until the next iPhone is released.

Just got mine today as well. Not a big fan of the size but I might grow into it...
So long as this thing lasts me 3+ years I don't mind getting this since the new one is about to be released.
just picked up mine, the box is pretty warm because it was sitting in the community mailbox for a few hours. that's the thing about Canada post these days, in this case for a phone I actually prefer this than UPS or other who just leave your parcel at your porch.
since this is my daughters birthday present and giving it to her next Tuesday, and fact that I cannot slide the paper that wrap around the plastic box without tearing it up, I haven't opened it yet....
BTW the packaging is pretty interesting, they put the phone ,the case in the box then put air bags on the top and sealed the box...... why wouldn't the packaging person put bags at the bottom AND on the top using the same amount of bags ? might as well save the bags and ship without.... puzzled..

Refurbished Nexus 6, saw this on Android Central. So pretty sure it's reputable 299 sold, only problem is it does not ship to Canada but there are several ways around it, I'll post it around since I don't think this deserves a whole thread just to get flamed for no Canadian shipping
Thanks OP
Also, only 64gb left available. All the other models are sold out.
For charger wise, i'm using my blackberry chargers with anker usb-c to micro usb adapter. Works great and charges pretty fast.

This can't be a unique request! Has anyone found a good alternative to the full priced OEM Nexus 6p charger? (NOTE: I'm not talking about cables, just chargers!)
