View allIt's the 5100 and 6000 that have the fast autofocus, and new flash hot shoe for the a6000. a5100 does not have hot shoe at all, and no viewfinder.
I will keep using my Nex-5R until they update a6000 with 5-axis stabilization or something :p

If people, go for the Sony 50mm F1.8 (SEL50F18)
If landscapes and/or city architecture, go for a wide-angle (I don't think there are many cheap ones available though... maybe one of the Rokinon ones... Some more pricey ones are the 12mm Zeiss Touit and Sony's 24mm Zeiss (SEL24F28z).
If you like birds or far things get the 50-210mm zoom lens (SEL55210)
I also used the 32mm Zeiss Touit but am selling that now since I have the 24mm.
If you intend to filming, get a camcorder.
UWA 10-18F4 if you are into landscape.
anyone know what other lenses are recommended ?
thanks
ive got 14 days to find a better deal during black friday lol. anyone spot any better deals yet?
you can compare lx7 pictures with other cameras. dpreview doesn't have a5000 fully tested, but you can try sony nex f3, which has a slightly inferior sensor than a5000
starting from ISO 1600, the difference is significant
Thanks
dimensions are similar. although the lens might be bigger for a5000
How about size? Similar?
Thanks
not the same league
Thanks
It's not A6000 (or 5100) for that matter. Both of those have the new fast phase detect autofocus.
Having said that, the new A7II announced today with full frame in-body stabilization....drool In a different league than what we are talking about here though
Great Image Quality
User Friendly
Wifi upload
I still have to hold out for the a6000 though. The 11fps burst and 25,600 ISO mode are droolworthy.
