Forum user crazycoward just gave us a heads up about a new offer for SCENE members. Starting now, SCENE members can save an extra 10% off the already discounted price of Tuesday film tickets.

To take advantage of this offer, you'll need to have your SCENE card on hand when you order your tickets, which must be purchased on the day of the screening. This offer is valid for admission tickets to Tuesday films, including IMAX and Ultra AVX screenings.

If you aren't already a SCENE member, you can register for free on the Cineplex website (you'll earn 250 points by signing up). If you are a Virgin Mobile subscriber, you can sign up through their Members Lounge to get an extra 750 bonus points after you use your card for the first time.

- Looks like they increased the price to half-price Tuesday (At least for Metrotown). A ticket used to cost $6.25 on Tuesday, now it's $7.50 before the 10% discount.

  So...basically this "discount" does nothing except return the price to its original amount. Nice one Cineplex.
  
  It may get more people to sign up for the Scene card though.

  It just started today. They announced it this afternoon on their Facebook page. I'm guessing the prices will go into effect next Tuesday!

  Tuesday's is cheaper. generally around 50% off regular price. Addition cost of 3D/IMAX/UltraAVX isn't discounted.
  
  eg. Metrotown charges $7.50 i believe on tuesdays now.
  
  when i went to see Avengers in ultraAVX 3D and it cost $12.50
  
  $7.50 for base ticket
  $2.50 for 3D
  $2.50 for UltraAVX
  
  regular price on a different day would have been $17.50 (save $5)
  
  to be honest it's not much savings especially if you are using movie tickets or entertainment book coupons.

  $7.50 and 10% discount is actually $7.50 - $0.75 = $6.75
  
  and if he/she was right about the $6.25 price, then it's actually an increase of $0.50.
