Amazon.com ones seem to be better, however you do need to factor in the cost of parcel forwarding (as they won't ship outside USA) and the cost of returns (as they won't pay for defective returns if poi have used a shipper to forward to Canada. A lot of the stuff will be unopened, especially if it is described as Very Good or better.
I got a Speck cover for a Macbook for $10 plus about $10 in shipping costs - when I opened it, it was brand new and unopened (shrink wrap etc fully intact).
Same for Amazon.co.uk when I lived over there - Warehouse Deals prices were very good and never had to return anything - laptops and other electronics included.

Oh well what can I do, I'm certainly not keeping a product that is 1/4 defective... will wait until tomorrow to do the ritual complaint chat and get the ball moving on this latest snafu.
I don't think everything is a return however, I think some stuff was dropped in the warehouse and has box damage so they can't sell it as new.
Anyways too much risk on electronics in my opinion.
1) Original customer lied
2) Original customer thought it was defective and just didn't know how to use it
3) Warehouse Deals customer does not realize it is defective or doesn't know any better
With 1 and 2, they minimize their losses in the (probably rare) cases that this happens. And #3 is pure profit. My main problem areas with receiving defective stuff was with electronics and tools. In the case of the tool (a heat gun with an LCD readout) as soon as you power the thing on and look at it is is so friggin' obvious that it was broken the display was completely garbled with missing segments etc - nobody even plugged it in and just said "it looks good, very good condition!".
"This little ding in the CPU, whatevs! It's just a dent!"
Meanwhile it might be missing pins, who knows.
1) People return things that are defective.
2) Amazon puts up for sale as a "deal".
This is the third (?) defective product I've received from warehouse deals, I think I'm done. Of course I had to remove my whole heatsink assembly to get at the slots underneath etc. just to do the testing for amazon and find out that yes indeed you have resold something that I have no doubt the previous customer told them was defective so they could return it. Total pain in the ass, I would not buy electronics or anything else that could be defective but outwardly look normal.
Now I don't fully know what that means but guys I will find out.

EDIT: Canceled order, too many sanitary issues
I probably wouldn't buy electronics from them. Just too much risk there.
So, I was wondering if there was anything else?
Thanks.
