I've been going to shoppers/pharmaprix for years, and yesterday was told that milk didn't count towards the $50 promo for a Tim Horton's card... I think the cashier was bsing me as I've always bought milk and never had a problem before. Anyone have this issue?

She is BSing you. Milk is not on the restricted list. I have purchased many food items to get towards $50 for GCs.

It depends on which province you are in. I remember Atlantic provinces didn't earn points from milk.

In QC, milk earns point BUT you can not redeem with points.

I should have complained on the spot as I've probably done the promotion 10 times before and never had any issues.. I always buy milk since the price is all the same everywhere, but at pharmaprix you get the advantage of having points... was at the same pharmaprix a few weeks back and asked them if I was going to get 20x pts with all the stuff that I bought and the girl assured me.. as I was leaving I checked my receipt and had 0 bonus points...

Yes you can, but final total amount of purchase has to be $50 or more before taxes. The 20% off Senior discount only applies to regular price items, not on sale items. Also if you use any manufacturer coupons, the amount after using the coupons must keep final total above $50 before taxes.
