    • I've asked this before and got scolded by someone about it being stealing, but here it goes again.

Do you think it's stealing if someone buys the $50 item then returns it (without opening of course) and keeps the GC? I'm sure SDM would deduct of return total but let's say the retailer puts through the full $50 back.

Am I evil for thinking this way?

    • We are both evil. I came here wondering the exact same thing. May we burn in hell.

dont you think thats so cheap?

so much work for 10 dollars, and risk of embarrassment

having a decent job is much better

I can see your POV, honestly it's not cheap if you take that cash and use it to do good for someone else. Just depends on how you use it...I was wondering more about the ethical implications of knowingly taking $10 from a business with no profit on its end?

If it has an expiry date, which I assume it does, then no way! It is akin to a decent coupon. It is designed to get you in the door.

Great point, and if you can exercise self restraint and not buy anything else shouldn't be an issue...it's like saying thanks for the incentive but your prices aren't competitive enough so I'll shop elsewhere, In a sneaky way it's designed to get you back a second time to use the GC :-S

    • The only thing I'd want from SDM is those duraloops

Too bad the rfd effect swoops up all the stock EVERY single time.

    • I have a half dozen expired SDM gift cards - they count on a percentage never getting used.

At least 6 of you should not feel guilty

NSX can feel guilty however for his brutal, ridiculous and overzealous modermania. Time to end the power trip dude!

Not once did you think about buying duraloops?
