This Wednesday only, when you spend $50 or more on almost anything at Shoppers, you’ll get 20x the points awarded to your Optimum account. All you have to do is to print this coupon and present it to your cashier at the time of purchase. The coupon will be scanned and your points will be added to your account by end of day on June 27.

This offer is valid Wednesday, June 20, 2012 only and cannot be combined with any other Shoppers Optimum Points promotions or promotional card offers.       To me it's absolutely a deal - I just redeemed 80K for $200 last weekend and with this past weekend's 20x, I have enough points for another $250 redemption. I load up on diapers and formula and easily rack up a heck of a lot of points. This past 20x weekend my total was $130 but redeemed $50 in coupons so OOP $80 for things I need and got 35K shoppers points. How long would it take to do this without the 20x days.................?

      Actually, there was no link in your original OP. I wish I quoted it for evidence. You simply posted an image with the barcode cutoff. I just wanted to make sure the community was aware that there was a barcode with the coupon so they wouldn't look like idiots at the store when they printed off your original image and then didn't receive 20x points.

      FYI - I don't heckle new posters. I educate them. But when you have 900+ posts, you should know better than to post a deal with no information and no link to the coupon required to take advantage of the event.

      Anyways, the event isn't invitation only. Anybody with the coupon and a Shopper's Optimum card can take advantage of the event. Good deal for those who missed the 20x this past Saturday and need to buy stuff from Shopper's.

      The latest news is SDM is now giving points for FPCs (Free Product Coupons). They should have done this a long time ago bc coupons are cash but at least they finally they changed their policy this past weekend (after a big facebook uproar that just took place over their Optimum program.) So if you have any FPCs like the recent Perfect10 or John Frieda hair colour coupons that were worth approx $15 each, you can quickly get to $50. Just make sure they scan your optimum card before they start taking off the coupon values. You can be oop much less than $50 and still get 20x the points for the pre-coupon total.

      if i will get this during this 20x points
      would that mean

      1,000 points x 20 20,000 bonus points?
      and if i decided to buy 4 band aid

      that means 2,000 points x 20 40000 points?

    • Just got off the phone with the Optimum people and the coupon can only be used once. He said that the 20X points would not be awarded if you tried to use the coupon at a second store, etc. The second time you would only get the base points like usual.

      It does not state that on the coupon but he said the computer would catch it.

      I dont see the reason as to why you want to use the coupon at 2nd store.... this is not something like the previous 3000 points for gilette products right?

      it doesnt matter if you purchase $50 or $100 you will still get the 20x points
      so why do you want to use the same coupon same optimum card number on a different store?

      The second store is because in my area, there is a brand new SDM, but they don't have any electronics. They do however have a bunch of stuff on sale that is not on sale at the other local SDM which does have electronics. So I had to split my shopping. I had my daughter get an Optimum card to maximize the points.
