  Yup, these are the "slim" version of the db651 speakers and will fit fine.

- You're correct. The slim ones are $55 on Amazon.com. Crutchfield.ca has both kinds for the same price ($110).

- well crutchfield gives you mounting brackets and stuff too if it's not a straight install. that's a bonus i guess.
