Acura 25th Anniversary Offers: 0.25% Lease for 25 Months on New 2012 Acura Models & More!

If you're in the market for a new and upscale 2012 car, now is a good time to check out what Acura has to offer. They are celebrating their 25th anniversary and for a limited time, they are offering a competitive 0.25% lease rate for 25 months on select new 2012 Acura vehicles. The Acura models that qualify for the 0.25% lease offer vary from province to province.

If you live in Ontario, you can lease the Acura TSX (Model CU2E4CJ) for $288 per month with a down payment of $4,400 + other applicable fees (offer ends February 29, 2012). Also, Acura will help take care of your first $1,000 lease payments (the amount varies by province).

If you're more interested in buying a car outright, the Acura TSX starts at $33,920 (price based in Ontario, includes freight, PDI + other costs and excludes applicable taxes). Right now is actually a sweet time to own a 2012 Acura since they are offering complimentary maintenance for 25 months on all 2012 Acura vehicles purchased between September 1, 2011 and February 29, 2012 or with 50,000 KM (whichever occurs first).

- the lease monthly payments were high .. found out that they wanted to collect much of the car's value in a period of 25 months .. so deal didnt look attractive to me .. but am not expert and might look ok to others, but i would prefer spread the value on 3 or 4 years with higher interest than rushing cashing in the value in 2 yrs ..

  Has anyone gotten quotes for a TL? So far I've got a 2012 TL with SH-AWD/Tech Pkg for $0 down, $700/month tax in for a 25 mth lease. Any thoughts/comparables?
  
  Edit: To be clear the Acura promo right now is 0.25% Lease/Finance rate for 25 months. No charge maintenance for 25 months as well.
  700X25=17,500. The car is worth about 47,000 brand new so the depreciation rate is 17500/47000=37%. I know there's interest in the $700 but at 0.25% it's minimal. 37% seems to be in line with the depreciation expectation.

- The finance and the lease rate are the same for 25 months: 0.25% for all 2012 models.
  Right now I think only the TL is ready for delivery. The other models are available for pre-order.

  Honestly, I thought it was a good deal - but after reading your opinions, my decision has changed - and will be more cautious when it comes to car searching.

  Understood. Yes I was attracted to the 2 year lease since it gives me a lot of flexibility to get out of the lease quickly. I traditionally buy my car but didn't want to lock a bunch of cash in a vehicle at this point. My kms allowance is managable so I think I should be okay there.
  
  Just interested in seeing if there are others out there with similar or better offers for leases to gauge the deal.

  Ok was just about to do it, but then I realised that I'm in BC and you're in Ontario which might affect price of the car. Can you give me an Ontario postal code? Doesn't have to be your own, any random one will do as long as it's legit. I need to enter a postal code so the site can check for location to get the report.
