    • Talked to InstantPot CS month ago and they said "starting to sell it aprox. end of July" so this is the first, I guess, time you can actually buy it?!?!

Edit: Grabbed BC flyer and it's here as well [same price!] Going to get one, thanks!! [Have a "big" one and LOVE it!!!]

So maybe you correct the title?

    • 3qt is quite small.. especially when compared to the Amazon Prime deal @ $99 which was for an 8qt.

I'm always weary of Canadian TIre advertisement.
That DeWalt combo looks like a good deal at first glance @ $189, with a "$110 discount", until you find out this same combo sells for $199 regular price at Lowe's/Home Depot everyday -_-

    • If anyone is sitting on the fence regarding the instant pot, I can safely say after owning one (amazon sale purchaser here) that its well worth it. However, with it being 3qt i'm unsure if that's big enough for the family as an 8qt i find is big enough for mine.

    • I also picked up an 8qt during the amazon prime sale for $99 and we use it at least twice per week. It's a great product. 3qt would only be good for a single person I would imagine.

    • I find the 6qt a bit big for a couple unless you make 2+ meals
      3qt is perfect?

    • I'm on the fence due to the size. I know the 8 qt fro the Amazon Prime day would've be too large for me but I'm not sure if the 3 qt is too small? I usually cook for 1 or 2 but like leftovers for the next day or 2. Should I wait for the 6 qt to go on sale or get this?

    • I have a family of 4 and use it to cook rice everyday, make soup and stew.

    • how do you use it to cook rice, soup and stew all in one meal? or do you mean cook one after the other which takes a long time no?

    • We've had our instant pot since last Nov, we usually make mashed potatoes (with meat loaf on the rack at the same time), ribs, soups, chilli ...you name it..it probably can be made in it! (Okay maybe not steak.. but most things)

I would say wait and get the six quart if you like leftovers.

    • Thanks! I think I will wait for the 6 qt to go on sale one day and get that. I think the 3 qt would be fine for me but if I want leftovers then I'll wait for the 6 qt.

    • I would highly recommend getting the largest size you can accommodate. If you have lots of leftovers just freeze them so they don't go to waste! I just made pulled pork + broccoli mac n cheese yesterday. I portioned out 5 lunchs worth, then froze the other half for another week. I love having the bigger sizes and being able to cook up an entire pork shoulder, a full roast, or whatever else.

At this price I would definitely just wait to try get a 6 or 8qt on a better deal. Hopefully that deal comes earlier than next Prime Day though....

    • If you haven't made creme brulee in one yet, you're missing out.

You can make a good size batch in the 8 qt.
