Threadless: $9.99 US Tees Sale (Extended Until March 23)

Threadless: $9.99 US Tees Sale (Extended!)
This deal has expired! This deal has expired!

March 21 Update: Threadless has extended the sale until March 23 at 10am CST. If you missed out on some favourites, you have a couple more days to take advantage of the sale.

Originally Posted on March 19: If you've been waiting patiently for another sale at Threadless, you're in luck! For a limited time, you'll be able to pick up select tees at just $9.99 US. Normally priced at $19.99 US, this would definitely be a good time to purchase some of those uniquely designed tees you've had your eye on.

The deal is on until March 21 at 11am EST so you'll want to place an order quickly while sizes and quantities are still available. Shipping is a bit much ($9.99 to Toronto) so you might want to do a group buy with a couple friends to make it more cost effective.

Just to note, the Threadless website is probably getting bombarded with orders right now so you'll have to be patient while placing an order.

They'll ship USPS with the standard shipping, so you won't be hit by customs. Just don't order express with UPS and you'll be fine.

That's not true...I've been hit by customs the 2 times I've ordered from them, it's usually for things over $60 declared. By the way, someone from ebay is selling $75 for $100 Threadless voucher, seems legit based on feedback history.

Yes it's my first post :O. Anybody could challenge my statement with a simple google search. I just wanted to clarify that people get charge customs for USPS all the time, contrary to what the other poster wrote.

    • I bought twice from that voucher guy on ebay.
And yeah I know I just joined the forums too, but you can see a similar name to mine on the feedback for the Voucher ebay Sale to prove that it is me!

It's awesome, did the voucher and on top of that the 9.99$
Got 8 tshirts and shipping til' 99.80 something cents. and only paid 75$ (45 pounds actually turned out to be 72.something canadian dollars)

    • Just wanted to add that both times I ordered from threadless, I got hit with tax + canada post processing fee (5 bucks back then).

I have too many tshirts, or I'd order another 5-10. Love their stuff. But I'll get it shipped to buffalo in the future and just carry them back.

    • I did not get charged duty the last time I ordered over $75, haven't been charged for any order that I remember but then my memory isn't the greatest.

Quality of tees have decreased quite a bit, you can hold them up to the light and easily see through them, and also tell by touch the quality isn't the same.

Well, there never would be duties anyways as these aren't made overseas. It's "taxes" that most people get hit with. The 13% HST (Ontario). If you paid duties, you'd be paying 13% + duty.

At 9.99, can't expect much.. lol. At least they go on sale 3-4 times a year at that price. These are way better than buying some lameass "brand" tshirt. I always get people commenting or complimenting on my tshirts.

Not true. I just checked my hoodies and they're made in China. Some of my shirts too. Furthermore, last time I ordered from Threadless, my total was around $120 and I was hit with $30 in duties and taxes. Also, they have shipped with DHL which is notorious for charges. My advice is buyer beware.

P.S. I've probably ordered from them over half a dozen times and only the last two orders (placed in the last 6 months) did I have these issues.

    • got hit with customs last time i ordered from them... i split with a friend cause i figured shipping would be expensive, didn't think we'd be hit with $10+ customs fee each too... and it was only like 10 shirts total.

    • I always get hit with custom with their orders, plus they changed from the AA tees a few years back so the quality and fit isn't as good anymore. Society6 still prints their tees on AA tees but they're $20 a pop and no sales.

My bad, I shouldn't have implied all goods made overseas are charged duties. Some goods are, some aren't. Anything made in NA should be duty free.

    • I ordered 9 shirts yesterday, received them today with UPS.
42,50 of Duty TAX and things I don't know why I paid.
      total 146,57$ + 42,50$ = 190$.
      20$ per shirt.
      Be aware guys.
