  What exactly is actually going to be discounted that much? Izod and Hudson North, that's what. FEH.
  
  All these exclusions is what really killed the Bay for me. What really makes it obnoxious is that they always start the signs/banners with the word "ALL", like "ALL MEN'S SHOES 30% OFF*" then the long list of exceptions to go with that asterisk.
  
  All means ALL, doesn't it? Just how sleazy can HBC get?

  just picked up a great suit jacket and pants combo, nautica brand, today at the eaton centre location for just under $200 tax-in (originally $585 + tax = ~$660)

  can't believe you guys are complaining about a good thing. and of course there's exclusions, they're a business, they still need to make money to sustain business
  
  EDIT: plus, don't forget about HBC points! I used mine for an extra $20 off, so only ~$180. and i think most hbc rewards members got a coupon via email for 25000 bonus points for every purchase over $15 until feb. 29. perfect time to bank rewards points

- I was at the Bay at St. Laurent Blvd, Ottawa this afternoon. I found most were L or XL sizes. There were a few pairs of 12-size boots left. The sale has been on for weeks. Now they want to clear all winter stuff by offering extra 50% off EXCLUDING Polo, Nautica, Tommy etc.

  I'm glad you found yourself a good buy. However, with HBC there usually seem to be a lot of exclusions, and that's not in the spirit of a so-much-off sale on a particular category, particularly when they tend to prefix those deals so often with the word "ALL". To me, that's a flat-out falsehood. Just say "Off SELECTED casual men's wear" or whatever, and be a bit more transparent.

  However, most all brands have a rack with an additional 30/40%/50% off LAST ticketed price.
  These racks do include the brands in the exclusion fine print, but when scanned at the cash register they include the additional 30/40 or 50% off.
  As of yesterday the signs were 50% off.
  Yes it is confusing, but when "played" right the sales are substantial.
  i.e. $150 Ben Sherman pants marked down to $74.99 with an additional 50% off = $37.49 each
  i.e. $46 Emporio Armani night shirt marked down to $27.59 with an additional 50% off = $13.79
  i.e. $525 leather coat marked down to $425 with an additional 50% off = $212.50
  
  Just have to sort through the racks with an ADDITIONAL 50% off lowest ticketed price.

  that's what i found out too. they are deals to be had in-store if you are willing to search through and sometimes, you can even try to negotiate to get the discount

- Does anyone know if the clearance will extend into the week? I snagged some really nice kenneth cole and calvin klein dress shirts for ~$20, and wouldn't mind going back for more lol.
