ClearlyContacts.ca is once again offering free glasses for first-time customers. The promotion is a limited time offer or while quantities last. As usual, you'll need to pay for shipping, handling and insurance which totals to about $15.

To get your first pair of free glasses, head over to their coupon eligible list and select a pair, then enter promo code FIRSTPAIRFREECA at checkout. The free glasses include both the frame and standard 1.5 index lenses. You can upgrade your lenses or get coatings for an additional fee.

Keep in mind that there is a limit of one free pair of glasses per household and the offer is available to first-time glasses customers only.

    • Bought a few pairs last time they had this deal, I also got the added protection on the lenses, but can never keep them clean, they smudge so easily and can never clean them perfectly like I can with my other glasses, I'm always looking thru a hazy lens, am I the only one with this problem? And yes, I've used eye glass cleaner, doesn't make a difference. good thing they were cheap.

    • I have like ten pairs from clearlycontacts and they don't haze up, at least nothing that I can't clean off. Run your glasses under some warm soapy water? I usually use packet wipes from Costco for my glasses.

    • The current promo has been running for quite a long time, but I think that's mainly because they're trying to clear out their older stock. Hopefully some new stock, with greater variety, will arrive soon. Once that happens I'll definitely be directing some friends' business their way. They seem like a great company and they're the overpriced b&m stores' worst nightmare. If only other health markets, such as dentistry, had similarly low-priced alternatives, to force the current greedy practitioners to drop their outrageous prices. An auto insurance equivalent would be nice to have too.

    • Is it possible to get a second pair with the same prescription and address if we make a new account? Anyone tried?
