    • Have you tried bimmerspecialist.ca? I usually find their prices to be cheaper even with shipping costs - especially for the OEM ones.

    • i wanted to order 4 spark plugs since it was like 1.79 each but shipping was like 25 bucks. At the end i bought 16 plugs from frisco for 3 bucks each 48 dollars which came out cheaper than rockauto. lol!

    • I bet they raised all the prices 7% to trick people into thinking its a "sale". They have done it many times for the 5% "sales". I won't deal with those clowns anymore. It used to be 75 for free shipping, then 150, now 100, and yes shipping is ***** from there.

Shipping with them start at around 30-34$ and then just goes up from there. Also add 2 heavy items and the shipping shoots way up lol.

There shipping use to be way better for heavy things but they fixed the rate.
Example: 4 shocks,2 rotors, break pads,2 calipers,2 cantrol arms,2 tierod ends, $74.86 shipping... Now 2 shocks and 2 rotors with break pads shipping is over $100 from the same location.

    • Hmm .. never knew about bimmerspecialist.ca looks good. They sell benz parts. Autopartsway.ca used to be good but their prices seem higher now. Oil Pressure Switch for my car is $100 there! At the other Canadian sites it's about $65 and at Autohausaz it's even less. I ended up buying my last order from Autohausaz even with the shipping I came out ahead.

    • Been reading the thread. Too bad that Autoparts prices and shipping has been going up. I use to order from them and stock up on consumables as well to take advantage of the over $75 for free shipping.

I just ordered a coolant expansion tank from there. Shipping took a bit of time because it came from California, but it was OEM and fit perfectly. I checked a few sites and it was amongst the cheapest.

    • Hey Autopartsway has a 7% off + free shipping past $75 using promotional code FS755.

They used to ship free after $75 but they changed that to $100 now. If you are going to shop there anyway, might as well use this and save a buck.
Tried ordering over $100 worth of parts, when adding the code it says its expired.

I use Rockauto 100% of the time, or Partsource, if i'm stuck and/or need something asap... APW; never used. For my car, all they seemed to try and sell me was no-name brand *****... no quality parts like on Rockauto. They sell cheap stuff too, but its always backed by a warranty and not a white box special for a few bucks more just because they're canadian...

APW to me, is the equivalent of Prime Choice Auto parts.

i wanted to order 4 spark plugs since it was like 1.79 each but shipping was like 25 bucks. At the end i bought 16 plugs from frisco for 3 bucks each 48 dollars which came out cheaper than rockauto. lol!
Oh okay, so you're one of those that will complain about trying to save 1$, and expect international shipments to be free. Gotcha.

No reason to buy brake parts, or ignition items from the net [RA, ebay, whatever] ALONE, since there can be so much markup... Things like that are not meant to be bought separately, but combined with a larger order. Then again, my smallest order from RA to date has been 300$, so I always manage to add the odd little items i will need down the road as to not have to buy them locally.

This comes up each time these clowns have a 'sale'... and its been proven by members in the past in older threads lol

No supplier is going to ship $5 worth of parts for free. $25 is about the minimum you'll pay with RA. Thing is you could have got 100 plugs shipped for $30 and 250 for $40 which suddenly looks like a more attractive deal. As the previous poster points out if you place decent sized orders the savings with RA are considerable.
