As part of our ongoing effort to bring you the newest, best and most interesting news, the team here at RFD underwent a quick little iced coffee challenge last week. (Although as you'll see, the definition of "coffee" is stretched a bit with beverages called the "Chocolate Toffee Crunch Chillatte", for example.) Here's a look at the test:
The results fall basically in line with the cost -- the most expensive option (the $4.15 drink from Starbucks) was first and the least expensive option (the $1 drink from McDonald's) was tied for last. So, in your opinion, is the $4.15 drink from Starbucks worth spending the extra $3? Or are you okay with a no-frills $1 drink? I'm recusing myself on this debate because I never drink coffee (but I have to admit I love an occasional $1 Tim Hortons Frozen Lemonade drink).
